TABLERUNNERS
These table runners are designed to be used as a table setting for four. They can also be used singly on a table or sideboard. Woven in mercerized cotton with sparkle novelty yarn.

ABOUT MY TOWELS AND THE YARNS THEY ARE MADE FROM:
All of my towels are hemmed by hand and are very sturdy. These towels can be machine washed and dried, and have already been washed in hot water and dried in the dryer to maximize shrinkage before they are measured. Handwoven towels soften and improve with use and multiple washings. A well made handwoven towel will last for many years.
I work mostly with cotton, cotton and linen blends, pure linen, and hemp. The differences in prices are based on the cost of the materials. Linen and hemp are considerably more expensive than cotton. All of these fibers are from plants (the fiber is cellulose) and are very absorbent. Some of the cottons are mercerized (a treatment that makes the fiber stronger and more receptive to dye) or tightly plied. In these cases, the towels feel crisp to the touch when they are new, but will quickly soften with repeated washings and use. All of the towels I list here can be machine washed and dried.
